Pill produced in her home province of Canada but it would take her several years to get her first appearance before she made her debut in the American market. Pill got an appearance on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation featuring Wallace Langham and Liz Vassey in "Would, Could, Shoulda" written and co-written by Naren Shankar and featuring Michael Ensign and Michael G. Hagerty. Pill, who had worked on Picard for one year, was then a guest role in Devs a science-fiction miniseries created through FX Productions and Hulu.
